In December 2016 I joined a bunch of fabulous Stampin' Up Demonstrator in a swap. I will be sharing some of the wondermous cards I received in return. Here is a pic of the swap I created (21 of them 🙂
This was so much fun, and I just love the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper for this Beautiful You Stamp Set. The designer paper has some of my favorite colors. I used our wonderful Stiched Framelit dies, which will be available again on January 16, 2017!
The card base is in Mint Macaron, with a layer of Island Indigo, a strip of Rich Razzleberry for the sentiment, and then the Whisper White and the Blooms &b Bliss Designer Series Paper. I LOVE how our Designer Series Paper helps you "pull" colors together. Easy peasy baby!
And, yesssss, I had cut each beautiful you woman. Our Stampin' Snips makes this so easy, and our scissors cut like buttah. One tip: when cutting, "move your cardstock", not your scissors. It will help you avoid those sometimes pesky little bumps you get when cutting…..:-) I also used the Shimmery White Cardstock and Black Archival Ink to stamp her, then used our aqua painters to color her in, and she looks smooth as silk. Shimmery White Cardstock is my all time favorite to do watercoloring, "unless" I have a lot of blending to do, then I will use our Watercolor Cardstock.
