Birthday Memories

We used the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set on one of our creative projects at Saturday's Stamp Club gathering.  The Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper alone can almost make the entire birthday card.

The colors are so vibrant, and beautiful, and the characters are whimsical.  The best part is you can either stamp them OR use the Designer Series Paper and the coordinating dies to easily, and quickly cut out items like this cute poodle.

A few pieces of coordinating Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper, and you've got a nice background. Add a sentiment and a few more elements, and you're done.

Don't you love how "precisely" the coordinating dies cut the characters?  So easy peasy.  Now for the card details.

Birthday Memories Suite Details:

Early Expresso Cardstock – 8-1/2" X 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock – 4" X 5-1/4", and a 2-3/4" square for the Circle using the Stitched Framelits

Making Memories Designer Series Paper – Top piece is 3-3/4" X 3-1/4", Bottom piece is 3-3/4" X 2"

Fold the Early Expresso cardstock base in half, and set aside.  Adhere the Making Memories Designer Series Paper to the Whisper White card layer ( I love using Fase Fuse), then add a 5" piece of the 1/4" Stitched Edge Pacific Point Ribbon, adhere both ends to the back of the card.  Now take another piece of 4" ribbon and tie a know on the front of the card.

Run the Stitched Shaped Circle Framelit on the 2-3/4" square piece of Whisper White Cardstock through the Big Shot.  Stamp the Red Balloon onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  Run the poodle piece of Designer Series Paper and balloon with the coordinating dies on the Big Shot.  Stamp the sentiment on the Whisper White Circle with the Early Expresso  Classic Ink.  The Balloon is adhered with a Stampin' Dimensionals, and the other pieces use Fast Fuse.  Using 6" piece of White Bakers Twine, tie a bow on one end, adhere it to the balloon with some Tombow Multi-Liquid Glue, and trim to the desired length  You're Done!
