So here is the second project we created at Stamp Club last Saturday using the Floral Statements Stamp Set, and boy does it make a statement!
How lovely is this little gem? It's a larger stamp, so you don't really need to add much more to the card, but of course I did. The coloring was so stinkin' easy, because of the way the stamp is made, you automatically know where the shading (to give it more depth) needs to be added.
I stamped this is our Glossy Cardstock with the Archival Black Ink, heat set with the Heat Tool, and then using my Stampin' Write Markers, I colored in the image. I some of the very edges of the leaves and flowers white to give it even more dimension. I used Flirty Flamingo and Powder Pink Stampin' Write Markers on the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting me today. Below are the details for the card, and be sure and come back to visit, I'll be sharing the Framed Book information. Here is a quick pic of all three projects again.
Card Details:
Basic Black Cardstock Base: 8-1/2" X 5-1/4", scored at 4-1/4"
Glossy Cardstock Layer: 4-1/4" X 5-3/8"
Powder Pink Cardstock Layer: 3/4" X 5-3/8"
Fold the Black Cardstock base in half, and set aside. Add the Black Archival Ink to the Floral Statement Stamp Set, and firmly stamp on the Glossy cardstock, staying a bit to the right of the card. DO NOT move, jiggle, rock, etc the stamp set. The Glossy Cardstock is slippery, so stamp straight down, hold for 5 seconds, then lift straight up. Next, using the Heat Tool, set the ink "before" you begin adding any color. Ensure it is completely dry before you use the Stampin' Write Markers to color it in.
Adhere the Powder Pink Cardstock to the left side of the Glossy Cardstock, then add the new Mini Sequin Trim, and some Flirty Flamingo Twine, as shown. Adhere to the Basic Black Cardbase, and you are done!
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow!

Absolutely beautiful….thanks for sharing your shading tips! Enjoy your weekend!!!
