I pulled out my Coffee Cafe Bundle, AND Merry Cafe Stamp set to create these fun, full of color cards! I love how they turned out……yes, mucho color.
Even if you don't like coffee, pretend it's hot chocolate. You know that time of year is around the corner right?
I used Emerald Envy, Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise (I have neglected you far too long), and Lemon Lime Twist. I have some quick tips/instructions for you on how I created these.
I started with a piece of Watercolor Paper cut at 3 3/4" X 5". Stamped the images from the Coffee Cafe, and Merry Cafe, dusted with White Embossing Powder, and then heat set them. Next I selected 6 vibrant colors, and with my Stampin' Sponges inked up each piece of watercolor paper, leaving some areas lighter, and others with much bolder color.
Next I stamped and cut out all the pieces I needed from the matching Coffee Cafe Bundle, easy peasy. Next I added dimensionals to the piece I wanted to prop up. And then began the assembly.
I added a piece of 4" X 5 1/4" coordinating color cardstock, and then added that piece to a Thick Very Vanilla cardbase cut at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". Done!
