A dear friend of mine lost her sister recently, here is the card I made for my friend. I remembered to take a few pics before I mailed her card last week.
I love, love, love making cards, and even Sympathy Cards, just like to have to use them, you get me? Anywho, I used Pink Pirouette Cardstock, and my "go to" sympathy card stamp set, Thoughts & Prayers.
I also used the leaves from the Graceful Garden Stamp Set, on some Whisper White Cardstock, after I stamped off some Pink Pirouette Classic Ink. For the sentiment I used Berry Burst Classic Ink. I used the Oval Stitched Shaped Framelits to cut the sentiment, and the Layering Ovals Framelits to frame the sentiment in Pink Pirouette Cardstock as well.
I also used the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for some texture, and I felt it was feminine enough for this card, and dimensionals add the lift I was looking for here.
To bring it all together I finished it off with some Powder Pink 1/2 " Finely Woven Ribbon. I added a Mini Glue Dot underneath the knot on the bow to keep it from shifting.
