It’s that time of year to think about St. Patrick’s Day, so here is a fun treat I put together for my grandchildren’s school teachers (because we know how important our teachers are in our kids lives)!
I purchased these super yummy Little Debbie Cakes, and sat down to create this “custom box” to place them in, and then decorated each box. I can’t decide which one I like the best, they are all different in their own way. I’d be curious to hear what “your” favorite is among these four samples.
This one was quite simple, with the sentiment stamped all over the front, some Rhinestones, colored with my Old Olive Blends, and some 1/2″ Finely Woven Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon.
This one has a cute belly band, and a fun rosette underneath the hand cut Gold Glimmer Paper clover (made from the Pansy Punch!).
I used the Layering Ovals Framelits to cut out the center, and then added some colored Rhinestones, and the same Gold Glimmer Paper four leaf clover, and the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (a must have in my book), which was punched out with the Diet Banner Punch. Oh, I also added some Gold Metallic Thread behind the clover.
If you need to customize a box for your treat (or anything), check out the video below that Stampin’ Up has put together for all of us! It works great!
