Beautiful Bouquet for you

I had a few birthday cards to create for some very special friends, in fact this one was created several weeks ago, and I am just now getting around to posting it. July and August are super busy birthday months for me, and although I always try to be ready in advance, I don’t always get it done.

I had been wanting to use the beautiful new Delicate Lace Edgelets Dies, so I figured no time like the present, right? I had the 2018-2020 In-Color Designer Series Paper sitting on my desk, so I picked out a color from the pack. I went with Blueberry Bushel, such a beautiful blue, and you probably already know how economical it is to purchase the 6″X6″ designer series paper packs, because you receive 40 sheets of DSP for only $11.00!!!.

The Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies will amp up any card you create. You can see how precisely the die cuts the DSP. Once I had cut my edge piece, I simply measure what was left on my Blueberry Bushel Cardstock Base to figure out how long I needed it to be (which was 3-1/2″), and then I adhered both piece to my base. I added some of our gorgeous Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White.

Next I proceeded to cut out all of my little flowers, which I mostly did using Whisper White Cardstock. I did sprinkle in a couple cut with the Petal Pink Cardstock and stamped some flower images with Petal Pink Classic Ink. My Leaves were cut using the Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and I added some Blackberry Bliss Cardstock Sprigs.

I colored in some of the flowers with my Stampin’ Write markers around the centers. I colored in our Pearl Jewels with the Calypso Coral Blend marker, and adhered them to my project. By the way, did you notice all the sparkle on the card? oh my, Stampin’ Up has brought back the Shimmer Paint y’all!! I am over the moon so excited, plus they brought in some additional colors, all in the Holiday Catalog. I sure hope it sticks around! I will share with you later on this week in a video how I created that luscious sparkle!

I always like to finish the inside of my cards with piece of 4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla Cardstock for a polished, finished look.
