Seasonal Chums Suspension/Spinner

Today iI decided to make something a little bit different.  It’s called a suspension card, and I have also heard it called a spinner card.  Either way, here is what I came up with using the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set and the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper.

Seasonal Chums with Toil & Trouble DSP

Again, today I used the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog, and the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set (with coordinating Seasonal Tags Framelits dies) from the Annual Catalog.   I needed some obvious layers to make my suspension card, so I pulled from the colors in the DSP.  Basic Black, and Crushed Curry.  I have the card details for you below in this post.

That cute little bat by the sentiment is from the coordinating dies, and the string holding up my pumpkin is our Gold Metallic Thread.  The thread worked perfectly as it is so think, it didn’t create a “bump” on my card.

I wanted the back of the pumpkin to stay dark so it didn’t take away from my DSP, so I added a small white panel on the bottom inside of the card where I can still write a sentiment.  Oh, I also added another one of those cute bats.
