Shaker Christmas Gift Tag

In my book its never too early to start creating your Christmas Gift Tags, especially if you have a ton of family, right?

I think this adorable gift tag will make a fun addition to any gift, and I am here to share with you how I created this cutie.  I had this cute snowman left over from a card I had created and decided to use him on the inside of the shaker tag.

Creating the Gift Tag

First let’s begin by cutting out our jars using the Everyday Jars Framelits, one with the center cut out in Real Red Cardstock, another with Whisper White Cardstock., and lastly one out of our Window Sheets.   Grab your sequins, Foam Strip Adhesive Strips, and Embossing Buddy.

Adhere the Clear Window Sheet to the piece of Real Red Jar using some liquid glue.  Adhere the Adhesive Strips to the Real Red Cardstock jar, as shown.  Next, using your embossing buddy tape around the “inside” of the adhesive strip to ensure the sequin doesn’t stick to the sides.

Next, add your sequins to the center of the jar, and cut a small piece of ribbon, add to the top of the jar, and then add a little bit more liquid glue to the ribbon to ensure good adhesion.  Add the Spirited Snowmen, any other sentiment or image to the Whisper White Cut Jar piece and add to the jar filled with sequin.  Line up carefully.
