I have another ornament for you, using the Bethlehem Edgelits. I have several of these half dome ornaments and decided I needed some pretty, unique ornaments for my Christmas Tree, what do you think?
It was really hard to get a good picture of the ornament without some glare. I have three layers of dies in the ornament. The bottom layer is cut using my paper snips, as I didn’t have a die big enough to fit around the back. My next layer is cut using some Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the Bethlehem Edgelits Dies, my next layer is using Night of Navy Cardstock, again with the same Bethlehem Edgelits dies. The third layer is cut again using the Sparkle Glimmer Paper, with Mary and Joseph, again from the Bethlehem Edgelits Dies.
Lastly, the sentiment is from the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set using Whisper White Cardstock, Real Red Classic Ink, and the Classic Label Punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensional to lift up each of the layers, including the sentiment.
I used the Mini Silver Sequin Trim around the outside of the ornament, and then the 3/8″ Silver Metallic Ribbon on the top and part of my hanger as well. That’s it, super easy!
I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way. As we get closer to Christmas, I will be giving away one each of all the ornaments I share with you. All you need to do is leave me a comment, and let me know what you think and if you like these types of these posts or what you would like to see in the future. Gloria, this is a beautiful ornament. The clear, plastic ornament you used – you said it came from Hobby Lobby. What size is this ornament? I looked in their Christmas section today and could not find 2 piece clear plastic ornaments. Thanks!
Susan, I sent you an email with the link to the Hobby Lobby Store which definitely has them available. Here it is as well for you: https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Painting-Surfaces/Plastic/Clear-Ball-Ornament—3%22/p/28520
