Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set

The Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set meets Buffalo Check!  I really like creating my own background here using the Buffalo Check Background Stamp Set, Merry Merlot Classic Ink, Basic Black, and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Markers.  As I mentioned before the possibilities are quite endless.  

I inked up the Spirited Snowmen image with Memento Black Ink, then colored him in with my Pools Party, Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie, and Basic Black (for the buttons).  I only color in around the outside of the snowman with my Pool Party, then obviously colored in his hat, scarf, and ice skates.  Isn’t he the cutest?

I decided not to add any Window Sheet to my project, and simply let the snowman hold my two 2″ strip pieces together at the top and bottom with Dimensionals.  I really like how he turned out.  I don’t know why sometimes my photos don’t do my projects any justice, but this is one time it sure does not.

When I saw the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set in the 2018 Holiday Catalog I knew my daughter Monica J. was going to love it, and of course, she did.

I added some Clear Wink of Stella to his pom poms, nose and skates.  It really is super duper cute in person.

Card Details:

Merry Merlot Cardstock: 4-1/4″ X 11″, scored at 5-1/2″, cut one flap down to 2″.  Cut another piece at

                                         2″X 4-  1/4″ to create the bottom of your card

Very Vanilla Cardstock:    2-1/2″ X 3-1/4″ for snowman stamped image, 1-7/8″ X 4-1/8″ for top and bottom 

                                          panel layers, 4″ X 5-1/4″ for inside panel

Buffalo Check Card Layer:  4″ x 1 3/4″ (Stamp Very Vanilla Cardstock with the Buffalo Check stamp with 

                                          Merry Merlot Classic ink and use a Basic Black and Shaded Spruce Stampin’

                                         Write markers to add lines to the design Merry Merlot Card Layer: 2 1/2″ x 3-1/4″
