Home To Roost

I broke open the Home To Roost Stamp Set, and I had such a good time creating with it.  I did a search on the internet to see what different colors of roosters are out there, and low and behold, there is a “ton”!  Who knew?  Well, not me, I thought they were almost like hens, and then again, there are a ton of beautiful colored hens!  Ha!

Lots of Home To Roost

I stamped the rooster image on some Shimmery White Cardstock, colored them in with my Stampin’ Blends, then hand cut them out with my paper snips.  I used the grass/wheat stamp image that comes in the Home to Roost Stamp Set and stamped it in both Old Olive and Crumb Cake Inks.  I also stamped the grass/wheat image on the envelopes too.   Also, I used the fabulous Note Cards which as you may already know come pre-cut, pre-scored and with coordinating envies.  What’s not to love, right?

Before I knew it, I had stamped and colored 5 roosters, so I naturally turned them into 5 note cards.  This is going to make a great gift for a dear friend of mine tomorrow (Valentine’s Day).

I used the “Just a Note” sentiment and cut it out using the fabulous New Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Gosh I love those dies.

The Home To Roost Stamp Set is FREE when you place a $50.00 or more (before tax and shipping) order on my online store.  I will be getting a lot of use out of this stamp set, I think its pretty generic for a feminine or masculine card.

I hope I have inspired you today to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.  I always get a warm feeling when someone mentions they “loved” the card I created just for them.  I hope it does the same for you too.

Below is a list of the products I used for this project, and if you’re ready to order, you can simply select the item and you will be taken directly to my online store.  Another option is to download the supply list to help you place your order.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
