Humming Along – Tissue Box Card

I live in the state of Georgia and right now we are in FULL BLOOM allergy season!  We get that famous (not really), green gunk all over everything!!  However, the good thing is that Spring is most certainly in the air, and I for one am absolutely excited to be rid of the dang cold Winter we have had.  Waking up to the teens is not fun, especially considering we live so far South in the Country is not fun.  

Today I have a fun 3D project for you, and a FREE downloadable tutorial for you, cause I love you so much!  😀 

Is this not the cutest card to send someone who is not feeling well (like a lot of us allergy sufferers right now).  It folds nicely and fits in a regular envelope, yay!

I used the sentiment from the Humming Along Stamp Set in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.  It has some great sentiments along with the beautiful hummingbird and hibiscus flower.  Even better it has coordinating Humming Bird Framelits Dies, which if you order now as a bundle and receive an additional 10% off.  

I used Grapefruit Grove Cardstock for my card base, and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper as one of my layers which I cut at 2-3.4″ X 5-3/8″, with another layer of coordinating Mint Macaron Cardstock cut at 3″ X 5-1/4″ to frame the DSP.  I stamped the small little flowers from the Love What You Do Stamp Set (in the annual catalog) on the card base with coordinating Grapefruit Grove Classic Ink.

I also stamped the cute flowers on the tissue box inside of the card.  Just remember if you are using a darker colored cardstock, that you add the inside Whisper White cardstock layer “before” you adhered the tissue box.
