Flower Pot Card with Tutorial

I remember creating this card many years ago and decided to make it again, this time with a free tutorial for you.

I used Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Granny Apple Green, and Pineapple Punch cardstock.  This type of card can literally be used for any occasion, but I think works out great for Mothers Day. Birthday, Graduation and so on.

I have the downloadable tutorial for you below.

Potted Plant Card

I used a couple of stamp sets, the Flourishing Phrases and coordinating Flourish dies, and Pop of Petal Stamp Set with the coordinating Four-Petal Flower Punch.  I also used the Seasonal Layers Dies, the scalloped edge piece as shown in the photo above.

You pull out the insert from the pot and you can add your message on the blank space.  I didn’t add one so I can use it later for whatever need arises.

You can obviously use a variety of stamps, punches, dies, cardstock and colors, etc. that makes you happy.  I have a couple of examples to share with you, which uses the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, the Pop of Petals Stamp Set.

I used the 3/8 ” Crumb Cake Class Weave Ribbon on all the cards, I felt it gave it an earthy tone. Again here use whatever ribbon color you like.  I used the ribbon to keep the pot “closed” instead of any type of adhesive as I knew I was going to be sliding the insert in and out and didn’t want there to be any potential for the card to “stick”.

Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and sent it on its way.  I so appreciate your business and have included the products I used for your convenience below which you can purchase at my 24/7 Online store.  You can also download the supply list.

Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised tomorrow!
