Flip, Flap Fold Challenge
I love to participate in challenges and this week over at Splitcoaststampers, Beth Rush created a video on the Flip, Flap Fold. It is a quick, easy, and super fun card. Flip Flap Fold Card
For this challenge, I decided to use several stamp sets, Beautiful Friendship, Young At Heart, and Bloom & Grow Stamp Sets. Once I made one, well, I just had to make another. I think I am going to use these for my July customer thank you cards.
I used the Thick Whisper White Cardstock for my card base, and the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper for one of my layers, plus some Gorgeous Grape Cardstock which I dry embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
Another new product I used was the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and some of the Gorgeous Grape 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon. I stamped my image on the left with some Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the image with my Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
The image on the right comes from one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog, Beautiful Friendship. I stamped the images with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Pretty Peacock, and Pear Pizzazz Classic Inks.
So you pull the flap on the right (where the ribbon is attached), and it reveals the sentiment on the inside.
You don’t really have to attach the fun fold piece to a full piece of cardstock, but I wanted to add an additional message on mine so I went ahead and attached it to a full A2 card base.
