Free As A Bird Spotlight
This is number 4 of my little Free As A Bird ensemble. I decided to use my Layering Circle Dies to cut out my focal point, albeit I did a little fussy cutting of the flowers and leaves below my focal image.
Project details listed at the bottom of this post.
Layering Circle Dies
I have three layers on the front of the card, to add dimension, but no bulk, the Daffodil Delight Cardstock base, and Whisper White Cardstock. I also sponged the very top layer with some Balmy Blue Classic Ink, a Sponge Dauber, and some store-bought Glycerine. I have a video HERE, where I show you how I use the glycerin in my sponging.
As I mentioned, I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out my focal image from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, and the Daffodil Delight Cardstock scalloped circle.
I added some cute Basic Pearl Jewels to the flowers and some Glitter Enamel Dots to the panel. Did you notice the beautiful Crushed Curry 3/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon? It coordinated very well with my Daffodil Delight card base.
Don’t forget the inside
I love to continue the coordination of my projects to the inside, and this one is no different. I added some Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper on the inside and a 1/8″ strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Lastly, I added some of those fussy cut flowers from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

Love your creative idea! The only thing that I do not have is the vpcrushed curry ribbon! But guessing I can substitute another color!
Ms. Carol, of course, you can substitute any ribbon you have on hand. Glad I could inspire you.
