Heartfelt

I had to take a break from Christmas cards, gifts, treats, etc.  I just needed something different today.  I decided the next upcoming event is New Year’s and Valentine’s Day.  So I decided to use my NEW Heartfelt Stamp Set.

I didn’t have much time to create, so this project had to be quick and easy.  I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies, the New From My heart Specialty Designer Series Paper, NEW Country Club Twine Combo Pack, some Crumb Cake, and Whisper White Cardstock.

I used the Stitches Be Mine Dies to cut out the two hearts from Whisper White Cardstock.  I cut and scored my Crumb Cake card base, and laid the cut Whisper White Cardstock over my card base, and using a pencil to draw where the hearts would land once I adhered the Whisper White cardstock on time.  So I cut two pieces of From My Heart Specialty DSP and placed it over the penciled-in hearts on my Crumb Cake card base.

I used the Real Red-colored twine from the Country Club Twine Combo Pack and added it to my Whisper White cardstock as shown in the photo above.  I also added two boys to the top of the cut-out hearts.  I added lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals on my heart cut Whisper White Cardstock and layered it over my Crumb Cake cardstock.

The card details for recreating are listed below for you.

Heartfelt on the inside

I like to finish up my projects on the inside, and for this particular one, I added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and a 1/2″ piece of the same From My heart Specialty Designer Series Paper on the bottom.  I stamped a sentiment on the inside and I called this one done.  I also did stamp my envelope with a cute heart shape from the Heartfelt Stamp Set.

Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.
