Heartfelt Bundle Part II
Thank you for visiting with me today, I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day. I have the second project I created with the Heartfelt Bundle for you today.
Umbrella Builder Punch
I started with a Basic Black Cardstock base cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. The next layer is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″, I also stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Finally, I cut a piece of 3-1/2″ X 5″ piece of From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper and cut the center out using the largest scalloped die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies in the New 2020 Mini Catalog on page 20. I adhered to the Whisper White layer the die-cut scallop piece of DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the Umbrella Builder Punch with some of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper and punch the striped umbrella bottom. I also cute a second umbrella and the handle using Basic Black Cardstock. I cut the Basic Black Cardstock umbrella top in half horizontally and layered it underneath the DSP cut umbrella top, ensuring a little Basic Black Cardstock peaked out all around. I adhered the umbrella top to the bottom left corner of my project using Foam Adhesive Strips ONLY on the top portion of the umbrella, this allowed me to add some hearts to the inside of the umbrella. I adhered the handle using my Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I had lots of leftover hearts from the Detailed Hearts Die, so I used them to adhere to my project as shown in the photo above. I added some Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to three of the hearts sitting inside the umbrella. Lastly, I added a cute faceted gem from the From My Heart Faced Gems to the top of the umbrella.
Don’t forget the inside
I love to carry on the scene from the front of my project to the inside. Here I added a strip of From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3/4″ X 4″ to my Whisper White layer which I cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″. I cut a piece of 1/4″ X 4″ strip of Basic Black Cardstock and adhered it over the DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added just a snippet of one of my precut Real Red Cardstock Detailed Hearts Die pieces to the inside as shown in the photo above. I called this card done!
