February 2020 3D Bundle Blog Hop
Hello everyone! It’s February and we have another fantastic 3D Bundle for you! We’re celebrating with a blog hop! We’re each showcasing a second project we created using the same stamp set/or bundle we used in our 3D Bundle Tutorial Bundle Project.
The projects designed for the 3-D Tutorial Bundle are totally EXCLUSIVE and not available elsewhere online. In addition, you’ll receive both Imperial and Metric project measurements. Here is a sneak peek for you.
For my particular project, I have a video on assembling the project (I’m a visual person and I figured some of you were too….:-), along with written instructions and photos. In addition to the project we created for the 3D Bundle Tutorial, we also created a second project using the same goodies. Here is mine which goes nicely with my 3D project.
I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2′ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and I took an additional 1-1/4″ off of one side a shown in the photo above. I cut the striped piece of Golden Honey Designer Series Paper at 1″ X 5-1/2″ and adhered it with my SNAIL adhesive to what is going to be the inside of the card. I cut a 3-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ piece of a different Golden Honey DSP. I colored in the flowers with my Highland Heather Light Blends, including the single I stamped and cut from the Honey Bee Stamp Set. I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies with some Whisper White Cardstock and added it to my card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then used my Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends on right underneath the sentiment, to the half-way point, then used my Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends on the bottom half.
I heat embossed the beehive on Basic Black Cardstock with Gold Embossing Powder, then cut it with the coordinating Detailed Bee Dies. I added the beehive to my Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals then adhered the flower and bee some additional Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. I tucked a piece of the honeycomb I cut out using Crushed Curry Cardstock underneath the beehive and added a small bow to my flower with some Solid Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
Here is how the card looks on the inside with the strip of striped Golden Honey Designer Series Paper. That’s it for this project.
