Healing Hugs ~ Get Well
With Spring just around the corner, I am probably going to need some get well cards for all of us sinus sufferers, not to mention the craziness going on right now around the world.
I “adore” the rose in the Healing Hugs Stamp Set, and the beautiful font on the get well soon sentiment. so I opted to use it for this project.
Get Well Soon
I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock and scored it at 4-1/4″, and another piece cut at 3-3/4″ X 5″ to cut out the center panel using the Heirloom Frames Die (rectangle one).
I stamped the rose image with Gorgeous Grape ink and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut the images with my Paper Snips.
I used the stitched rectangle piece I had cut using the Heirloom Frames Dies and placed it on my cardstock base, then used a pencil to make a few marks so I would know where I could stamp the sentiment with my Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I erased the pencil marks after I stamped my sentiment.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals all around the stitched rectangle frame and added it over the sentiment. I add the stamped rose image with Stampin Dimensionals as well as being careful not to add any of the rose that would be laying over top of the frame. I added the leaves as shown with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The last thing I did as color some Basic Jewels Rhinestones with a black Sharpie marker, then sprinkled them to the front of my card. I called this project done.
