More Flowering Foils DSP
Today I am sharing a couple more projects using the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper available for the last time TODAY as a FREE Sale-A-Bration product for any purchase over $50.00 (before tax and shipping).
Melon Mambo Flowering Foils
For this project, I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which I scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a piece of the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP at 4″ X 5-1/4. I inked up the background with some Balmy Blue Ink and a Sponge Dauber. I adhered it to my Cardstock base using my SNAIL Adhesive.
I stamped my sentiments on the second piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 2″ X 4-1/4″ with some Pacific Point Ink, then adhered it as my next layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I had previously cut a ton of the floral images from the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP and fussy cut them with my Paper Snips. I adhere my floral image with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. Using my Dark Lovely Lipstick Blend (the bullet point) I colored in 3 of my Rhinestone Basic Jewels, then sprinkled them onto my project.
Lastly, I had a couple of leftover pieces of the floral images, which I decided to go ahead and color in using the coordinating Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, and Pear Pizzazz inks with my Sponge Daubers. I fussy cut the pieces with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the inside of my project with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as shown in my photo above.
Pacific Point Flowering Foils
For my second project, again I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which I scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a piece of the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP at 4″ X 5-1/4 and used the largest of the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut out the piece of DSP. I cut a piece of 3-7/8 X 5-1/8″ of Balmy Blue Cardstock and adhered my Balmy Blue sponged piece of Flowering Foils DSP on top. I adhered it to my Cardstock base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a 2″ X 3-7/8″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock, then inked up my sentiment with Pacific Point ink from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. I adhered my piece with SNAIL Adhesive. Next, I added my floral image using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I sprinkled a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels I had colored with my Dark Seaside Spray Blends.
I had previously colored an entire sheet of the floral image piece from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper with my Sponge Daubers and lots of different inks (Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Rococo Rose, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue, and Pear Pizzazz). I then proceeded to fussy cut all of them with my Paper Snips.
