April 2020 3D Bundle Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello everyone! It’s April and we have another fantastic 3D Bundle for you!  We’re celebrating with a blog hop! We’re each showcasing a second project we created using the same stamp set/or bundle we used in our  3D Bundle Tutorial Bundle Project.

My project this month features the Best Dressed Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog, here is my second project below.

This card pairs perfectly with my 3D Project!  The card is super easy, with elements from the Dressed to Impress Bundle, and the Best Dressed 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper. 

I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White, which I scored at 4-1/4″.  I cut the Daffodil Delight Strip from the Best Dressed DSP at 2-1/2″ X 4-1/4″.  I cut two strips of Old Olive Cardstock at 3/4″ X 4-1/4″ and added it to the top and bottom of my DSP.  I adhered the piece to my card base with SNAIL Adhesive.  

I cut the Largest Oval from the Stitched Shaped Dies with Whisper White cardstock and adhered it over my DSP layer with SNAIL Adhesive. I stamped the woman image from the Beautiful You Stamp Set on a 2″ X 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and colored her in with the Highland Heather and Petal Pink Blends Combo Markers.   I fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips along with the handbag, and flowers from the Best Dressed DSP.  I adhered all the pieces over my Stitched Oval Shape using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Mother’s Day Sentiment from the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set on a 1/2″ X 2-1/4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and flagged it with my Paper Snips on one end.  I adhered it as shown in the photo above with my SNAIL Adhesive.  Lastly, I sprinkled a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels on the card.
