Full of Happiness

How adorable is this chick?  I think he is adorable, and perfect for an Easter card for my grandkids, I’ll be making 7 of these cuties.

Best Dressed 6″ X 6″ DSP

I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock base, which I scored at 4-1/4″.  I cut a piece of the Best Dressed DSP cut at 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″, and adhered it with my SNAIL Adhesive.

I cut the second piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 3-1/4″ X 4-1/2″, and cut it out with my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped the cracked egg image on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock with my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored the strips on the egg with my Flirty Flaming and Highland Heather Stampin’ Write Markers.   I used my Paper Snips to cut the cracked egg.

I stamped the little green floral images from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set on the bottom of my project with Pear Pizzazz Ink and colored in the flowers with my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers.

I stamped the adorable chick on my cardstock using Daffodil Delight Ink, then added dimensionals to my cracked egg and adhered it just below the chick.

Just look at how great the image appears with lots of dimension on the chick stamp.  I just love it!

I cut a few flowers from the In The Tropics Dies using Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather Cardstock, adhered them to my project with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and finished it off with some Daffodil Delight colored Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

The cut a 12″ piece of 5/8″ Flax Ribbon, and peeled apart the layers, I used 3 strands to make my bow.  I adhered my bow with a Mini Glue Dots.

The last thing I did was to add some of the flower elements I used on the front of the card, on the inside as well.  I called this project done.
