Positive Thoughts
I just heard about a dear Stampin’ Sister and friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I just had to send her some positive thoughts and prayers. I sat down and created this project specifically for her. My prayers are being lifted for you, my sweet friend!
I started my project with a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I also cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4″ X 5-1/4″, and ran it through the Stone 3D Embossing Folder (from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration Catalog).
On a 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped a second one without reinking. My butterfly was inked and stamped off before I stamped it using Basic Gray ink, then I added some small flickers of Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends. My sentiment is stamped with Basic Gray ink all images are from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set. My flower was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink. I cut all the images with the coordinating Nature’s Thoughts dies from the Coordination Product Release. Made pulling this project together super quick. I cut the smaller butterflies and scalloped detail with Gold Glimmer Paper.
I added all the elements using Stampin’ Dimensionals except for the butterflies, scalloped edge to my card front layer, those were added with my Liquid Multipurpose glue. Lastly, I sprinkled some Rhinestone jewels I had tinted using the Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend.
We’ve had so much rain and dark cloudy skies these last 5 months, my poor photos look so dull, but know I am working to improve them. If you have any suggestions, please leave me a comment! I would greatly appreciate it.
