Hold On To Hope

I created quite a few Easter Cards I’m mailing out today.  This season is just one of the many special times I like to remind my loved ones how much they mean to me and how blessed we are our Lord and Savior died on the cross to save us all.

A Wish for Everything

I used a couple of products on my cards which I will have listed below for your convenience. I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which I scored at 4-1/4″.  I stamped the floral image on my project from the Hold On To Hope Stamp Set with Pear Pizzazz ink, then using a Q-Tip, I removed the ink from the floral images only.  I used my Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the flowers, then “huffed” on the entire stamp before I stamped it on my scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Cross of Hope Dies

I used the Cross of Hope Dies to cut out my wooden cross from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I also used Gold and Silver Foils Sheets to cut out the inner cross on my project.

For the “Easter” sentiment I used the Word Wishes dies which I also cut out using Gold and Silver Foils Sheets.  I also cut out the sentiment with some white fun foam, to create some dimension.  I added the Gold/Foil Sheets over top of the fun foam with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the “happy” from the A Wish For Everything Stamp Set with Early Espresso Ink, and then used my Stitched Labels dies to cut out the sentiment.

Before I added any images to my Thick Whisper White cardstock base, I used my Sponge Dauber, Pool Party ink and my secret sponging weapon, “glycerine”, to add some sky like color.

Once I finished sponging my cardstock base, I added the floral image to the left of my card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added the Gold/Silver skinny cross to my larger wood cross with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue too.  I added some Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the wood cross and adhered it as shown in my photos.

I added the happy sentiment also using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then the “Easter” sentiment with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a large Gold Gilded Gems to the center of my Gold Foil Cross, and a large Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplet to the center of the Silver Foil Cross.

Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.

I appreciate your business and have included the products I used on this project below for your shopping convenience.  You can also download the Supply List then head on over my online HERE to place your much-appreciated order.
