Tropical Oasis Memories & More
I found my pack of Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack today on my desk and decided to use some of the elements to create some projects. If you need a quick card, be sure and reach for this fun pack.
Tropical Number One
I started with a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″, and then ran it through the Basket Weave 3D Embossing folder. I added it to my Very Vanilla card base using my Liquid Multipurpose Adhesive. I pulled out the 3″ X 4″ card element from the pack and backed it with a 3-1/4″ X 4-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock. I added this layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used two of the stickers in the pack, and removed the stickiness from the back by using my Embossing Buddy, then added some Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and centered them on my center panel. The sentiment was already on my card element, so this was super easy.
Tropical Number Two
I started with a piece of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut another piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″, and then ran it through the Basket Weave 3D Embossing folder. I added it to my Grapefruit Grove card base using my Liquid Multipurpose Adhesive. I pulled out the 3″ X 4″ card element from the pack and backed it with a 3-1/8″ X 4-1/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock. I added this layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set with Early Espresso ink. I cut some Lovely Lipstick cardstock flowers using the coordinating In The Tropics dies and added some leaves I have from an old Paper Pumpkin kit. I added one of the Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to the center of my flower (these were available during the Holiday Catalog and carried over, so you can still purchase them. Woohoo!)
Tropical Number Three
I started with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut another piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″, and then ran it through the Basket Weave 3D Embossing folder. I added it to my Whisper White card base using my Liquid Multipurpose Adhesive. I pulled out the 3″ X 4″ card element from the pack and backed it with a 3-1/8″ X 4-1/8″ piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock. I added this layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the “hello” sentiment in Early Espresso Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it o my project with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added more of the Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to the center of my card front.
Tropical Number Four
I started with a piece of Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I cut another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″, and then ran it through the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing folder. I stamped the “thank you” sentiment using my Early Espresso ink on a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock which I had cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Again, I sprinkled some of Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots on my project and called them all done!
