Flowers for Every Season

I have been thinking of a friend recently, and feel like God is calling me to reach out to them, pray for them, and/or show them a little “extra love”.  Today was one of those days. 

I decided to create a card for my friend, and let her know that I miss her, so I pulled out my Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack, Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, and Stitched So Sweetly Die Set.

I didn’t need to measure my card base because the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes come ready to pull your project together.  Today I selected the Just Jade Card base.  I love those cute little polka dots in the center, so I decided to incorporate them into my project and not cover them up.

I cut the largest of the rectangle scallops from the Stitched So Sweet Dies with some Whisper White Cardstock.  I trimmed down the 3″ X 4″ piece of the floral image shown from the Flowers for Every Season Card Pack down to 2-1/2″ X 3-3/4″.  I adhered it to my Whisper White scalloped card layer with my NEW Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive, it fit perfectly!

I wrapped some of the 1/4″ BumbleBee In Color ribbon around the layer and tied a bow to the left of my layered image.  I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to my scalloped piece and adhered it to my Just Jade card base.

I stamped a piece of 7/8″ X 1-3/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set with some Just Jade Classic Ink.  I also stamped those cute flowers from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set with some BumbleBee and Magenta Madness Classic Ink.  I added a couple of the Flowers For Every Season Gems to the centers of the flowers with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Lastly, I added my sentiment with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and I called this project done.

Oh, did I mention the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Card and Envelopes come with these adorable preprinted to coordinate envies?  Yeah, its in the name, but such a time-saver to have the envie all ready for you to go too, right!?
