Back On Your Feet

Some very dear friends of ours are both under the weather (no COVID, thank God), and I created this cute card for the both of them.  I used the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set, and the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.    You probably can’t see it in this photo but I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the turtle’s shell.

 

I used one of the New upcoming August-December Mini Catalog dies called the Celebration Label Dies, and it coordinates with the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set.  I have so many ideas rolling through my head for this Bundle, I need to write them all down.

I cut some Whisper White Cardstock with the die and stamped the turtle image from the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.   I set this piece aside and stamped the turtle image two more times on another piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  I colored the one entire turtle using the Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Old Olive, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. Then colored in only the shell on my second stamped turtle image.

I fussy cut the entire turtle with my Paper Snips, then only the shell on the second turtle image.  I adhered the fully-colored turtle over the stamped image on the die cut piece of cardstock, then added the shell with two layers of Mini Glue Dots. 

My card base is cut to 8-1/2″ X 4-1/2″ Thick Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4″.  I added a 4-1/4″ X 5-1/4″ Granny Apple Green Layer Cardstock, which I had embossed using the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the die-cut layer over the top of the Granny Apple Green layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored some Basic Rhinestones Jewels with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and sprinkled them to my card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set on the inside using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and called this project done.
