Basket of Blooms
I used the Basket of Blooms Stamp Set on my projects today. I also used the Jar of Flowers, Peaceful Moments, and Beautiful Friendship Stamp Sets. I had so much fun “coloring” my projects.
Peaceful Moments/Jar of Flowers
This project starts with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 4-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper at 4″ X 5″ and adhered it to my card front with my Seal+ Adhesive. I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 1″ X 4-1/4″, and sponged it with some Old Olive Classic ink using my Sponge Dauber. I used the grass die piece from the Special Friend Dies to cut my grass.
I stamped the pots and jar from the Basket Of Blooms Stamp Set with my Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of 4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I colored the pot images with Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends. The floral images from the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set were colored using Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry, Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends. I fussy cut all the images with my Paper Snips. I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set with Cajun Craze Classic ink on a 3/4″ X 2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
I adhered the floral image to the smaller pot with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added it to my card front. I adhered the taller pot using Seal+ Adhesive. I added my sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well as the grass strip at the bottom of my project.
Beautiful Friendship
This project starts with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 4-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ and sponged it with some Balmy Blue and Old Olive Classic inks. My favorite way of sponging is to use some Glycerin on my sponge before I add the ink color, I have a video showing you this technique ———HERE.

In Good Taste DSP
This project starts with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 4-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper at 3-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ and a second piece cut at 1″ X 5-1/2″, I adhered it to my card front with my Seal+ Adhesive.
I stamped the images from the Basket of Blooms Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock. I colored the pot image with Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends. The floral images from the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set were colored using Mango Melody, Purple Posy Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends. The basket was colored using Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut all of the images. I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Friendship stamp set with Cajun Craze Classic ink on a piece of 2″ X 2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and die cut it using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the top right using my Seal+ Adhesive. I adhered the flowers to my pots with Stampin’ Dimensionals then added them to my card front. I attached a cute bow to the basket, using a gold ribbon from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack, and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot.
As always, I like to finish up my projects on the inside, adding a little something, something. 🙂
Shimmery Crystal Effects
On all of my Pots (not the basket), I added Shimmery Crystal Effects, and I love how they turned out, what do you think?
So I have another tip for you today. I find it a bit hard to squeeze the Shimmery Crystal Effects container so I decided to transfer it to a much easier to squeeze container. I found these empty containers from Amazon (linked—-HERE) and have been without any issues. Please note, this is my suggestion, do this at your own risk.
You can easily add 2 Shimmery Crystal Effects into one container. The tip on this bottle gives you precise positioning, I love it! I have also added my Liquid Multipurpose Glue in one of these containers, and it also works great.
I simply removed the cap to the Shimmery Crystal Effects and squeezed the bottle as shown in the photo above. I labeled mine, just because I can…. 🙂
One last tip! Sometimes when you open a bottle of adhesive or in this case Shimmery Crystal Effects the bottle cap gets chunky and sometimes the top won’t fit as nicely as it used too. If you add some Petroleum Jelly around the outer area of the bottle and the inside area of the cap, your adhesive will “not” get stuck and you can easily open your bottle to refill at a later time.
Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.
