Love of Leaves
I am really enjoying the Love of Leaves Bundle, the stitched leave dies are simply gorgeous and add so much dimension.
Beautiful Autumn
Do you see the little acorn? It’s adorable and comes from the Beautiful Autumn Bundle. I couldn’t resist adding it to my projects. The greetings on my projects also are from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set.
Here are the details of my projects. I started out with a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I used the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for the top of my projects and the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper on the bottom.
The In Good Taste DSP was cut at 3-3/4″ x 3″. I used the Ornate Borders Dies to create the jagged edge on the bottom of the DSP. I also cut a piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper for the bottom of my project, I cut it at 4″ X 5-1/4″ using the largest of the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I then trimmed one side down to 3″. I stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set with Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed it with some White Emboss Powder and my Heat Tool. I adhered the Plaid Tidings DSP first onto my Early Espresso card base with my Seal+ Adhesive, then added the In Good Taste DSP second.
The stitched leaves were cut using Merry Merlot, Old Olive, and Mango Melody Cardstock. I sponged each of the leaves with coordinating Merry Merlot, Old Olive, and Mango Melody Classic ink and my Sponge Daubers. I felt my project needed a little something extra, so I stamped the acorn from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set and punched it out using the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack punches. I colored in my acorn with some Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I punched the little maple leaf from Soft Suede Cardstock.
I sprinkled some Artistry Bloom Adhesive-Backed Sequins on the front of my project. I added a 4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock to the inside and sprinkled a couple of the extra leaves I punched using the Autumn Punch Pack punches.
