Press On
I needed to send my friend a thank you card, and she loves coffee. I thought the Press On Stamp Set would be the perfect stamp set to create my thank you for her.
Once I decided on the stamp set, I then decided to I would make a slimline card, and I would use Crumb Cake cardstock as my card base (I have measurements below).
Center panel
The center panel is cut using Early Espresso cardstock at 2-1/2″ x 7″, then I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2-1/4″ x 6-3/4″. The Whisper White cardstock panel piece is sponged with my favorite “secret weapon”, glycerine, Coastal Cabana Ink Pad, and a Stampin’ Sponge. I have a video on how I use the glycerine to sponge my flawless pieces and will post it below for you. Next, I stamped the coffee beans from the Press On Stamp Set with Early Espresso Classic ink, then added the Whisper White cardstock panel to the Early Espresso cardstock layer using my favorite adhesive, Stampin’ Seal+.
I stamped the small coffee cups using Early Espresso Classic Ink and colored my cups using Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade Blends. I used my Paper Snips to cut the cups, then added some with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and some with Dimensionals.
My Crumb Cake cardstock base is stamped using Early Espresso Ink and the largest cup from the Press On Stamp Set.
I added my Early Espresso cardstock layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Before I added the Whisper White cardstock panel piece on the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, I stamped it with the coffee cup image and the coffee beans using Early Espresso Ink, then colored in the coffee cup center using the Pretty Peacock Blends.
A stamped the sentiment from the Press On Stamp Set with Early Espresso Ink on the second to the smallest rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I added the small coffee cup with Stampin Dimensionals and sprinkled of a few Real Red Rhinestones.
Measurements:
Crumb Cake cardstock = 8-1/2″ x 7″, scored at 3-1/2″
Whisper White cardstock = 2-1/4″ x 6-3/4″, top panel, 4″ x 5-1/4″ scrap to stamp small cups and sentiment, 3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ inside panel
Early Espresso cardstock = 2-1/2″ x 7″
