Four Season Floral

It’s December 2020 and a dear friend has a birthday next Monday, December 26th, and her hubby’s birthday is, Tuesday, December 27th (stay tuned for that project).  So, did you “miss” the Four Season Floral Stamp Set that coordinates “perfectly” with the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper?  Welcome to the club! 

My amazing upline gifted me the Four Season Floral Stamp Set (I won it, woohoo), and when I first saw it, I thought, where is this stamp set?  I couldn’t find it in the Annual Catalog.  Guess what?  It’s not in the AC, it’s in the Beginner Brochure, sheesh, I totally forgot all about it. 

I’ll have the measurements for you at the bottom of my post.

Well Written Dies

I wanted to make this card a bit more dimensional and textured than I normally give my projects, so I used the Well Written Dies and cut the birthday sentiment 3 times on Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I first added the Adhesive Sheets to the back of my Thick Whisper White cardstock, then die cut the sentiment, this made it super easy to “stack them” together (lots of dimension going on here).  The Misty Moonlight cardstock layer on the bottom is embossed using the Old World Paper 3D EF (again, lots of texture and dimension).

The pink flowers are stamped and fussy cut using my Paper Snips.  I used the Just Jade, and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write Markers on the floral image huffed then stamped it on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I used my Just Jade and Magenta Madness stampin’ Blends to color in the floral image and leaves.

The happy sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  I used the Happy Birthday sentiment which I stamped using Misty Moonlight Classic ink and use my paper snips to cut out only the word happy.

I sprinkled the gold Mettalic Pearls on the flower centers and added some Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon.

Thick Whisper White Cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, and 4-1/4″ x 11″ strip to cut the birthday sentiment 3 times, stamp the floral images and sentiment

Misty Moonlight Cardstock – 2″ x 3-3/4″

Magenta Madness Cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/3″

Flowers for Every Season DSP – 3-3/4″ x 5″
