Snow Globe Ornaments

I made some snow globe ornaments using the Snow Globe Scenes Dies, Snow Globe Shaker Domes, Peaceful Nativity Bundle, and Poinsettia Bundle.  I love how they turned out.  They look so much prettier in person, my camera didn’t pick up the beautiful glimmer on the ornaments

Snow Globes Scenes

The ornaments were relatively easy to pull together using the Snow Globe Scenes dies.  On this particular ornament, I used the gorgeous Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper for the background.  I used the Red Real Velvet Paper for my poinsettia flower and Beaded  Pearls in the flower center.  I used Silver Foil for the outside of the ornament.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set on a piece of Real Red cardstock with White Embossing Powder.  Lastly, I used the beautiful Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon for my hanger and bow. 

Poinsettia Dies

I used Gold Foil on this ornament, and instead of using the Snow Globe Scenes dies for the front of my ornament, I cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes dies, and then used the Snow Globe Scenes dies to cut out the center of the circle, so my Snow Globe Shaker Dome fit inside.  Again, I used the Poinsettia Dies to cut out my Red Velvet Paper poinsettia, and used the Gold Gilded Gems for the center.  I heat embossed the sentiment on the front from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set with Gold Embossing Powder on a piece of Pools Party cardstock and hand trimmed it with my Paper Snips.  I used the Gold Shimmer ribbon for my hanger and bow. 

Peaceful Nativity

I really love this ornament using the Peaceful Nativity Stamp Set, like the ornaments shown above, I used the Snow Globe Scenes Dies.  I stamped the nativity image on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I used my Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Soft Suede Stampin Blends to color the image.  The ornament background uses Night of Navy cardstock.  The background to the nativity scene is covered in Clear Wink of Stella which gives it a beautiful glimmer.  I cut the star with Gold Foil using the coordinating Nativity dies.   The sentiment from the Peaceful Nativity Stamp Set on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  I used the Gold Shimmer ribbon for my hanger and bow.
