New Catalog, New Goodies

I have been MIA for a couple weeks, and I apologize for not communicating better. 

I have some fun new goodies that arrived this week, and I am excited to share them with you.  First, Let’s start with the You’re A Peach Suite  which can be found on page 60 of the Annual Catalog. 

I live in the state of Georgia so I was immediately drawn to this amazing stamp set.  The Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set is a Dis Ink Tive stamp Set which I absolutely adore.  The shading, and coloring of the images are etched in perfectly, so it provides gorgeous 3 dimensional images.

If you’re not crazy about the Suite, (but really, you know you need the suite, right) you can also purchase the Sweet As A Peach Bundle and save 10%. 

I love that you can either stamp some mini floral images to create a beautiful cluster of flowers, OR you can stamp some small peach images for a cluster of peaches.  Today I decided to use the small floral images in my cluster along with the larger peach in the stamp set.  

I stamped off once for the first peach, and then stamped full strength for my second peach using my Calypso Coral Classic Ink.  The flower images were stamped in Mango Melody and Pale Papaya Classic Ink.  My greenery is stamped using Pear Pizzazz.

Another new product I simply adore are the Scalloped Counter Dies (albeit I purchased the Color & Contour Bundle because I love this bundle too).  I used the Scalloped Counter Die to stamp the sentiment on the right side with some Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, then used the Scalloped Counter Die to cut out my sentiment.

Don’t Forget the Inside

I kept this project simple and added another peach and stem on the inside.  Oh, I also stamped the envelope with a peach and stem as well.  I actually remembered to photograph them together.

Basic White Cardstock = 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, 3-1/4″ x 2″ for the scalloped sentiment, and a 8-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece for stamped and cutting your images
