Hand-Penned & Soft Pastels
I have two projects to share with you today, they use the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set, Penned Flowers Dies, and Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. Want the whole enchilada, order the Hand-Penned Suite Collection like I did and save 10% OR Hand-Penned Bundle.
Soft Pastels
I also opened up my Soft Pastels Assortment box, and played a little. Can’t wait to create a bigger project with the Soft Pastels, I think they will come in handy for coloring large areas. I only used two colors from the box, Gorgeous Grape, Night of Navy, and Granny Apple Green.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a one of the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack pieces at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhered it to my card base using Foam Adhesive Sheets. I cut the largest of the Hippo & Friends Dies in the shape on my photo using Basic White cardstock and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I stamped the floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored in the image with the Gorgeous Grape and, Granny Apple Green Soft Pastel Sticks. I started by adding the pastels near the center of the flower and leaves, I used a Q-tip to rub the color in and spread it to the edge of the image. I very gently rubbed the Night of Navy Pastel Soft Pastel around the entire flower, again using a Q-tip. I adhered the image with another piece of Foam Adhesive Sheets. Lastly, I sprinkled some Genial Gems.
I started with another piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I cut a piece of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper in Highland Heather at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. I adhered it to my card base with my Stampin’ Seal. Using one of the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack and the largest of the Scalloped Contour Dies, and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set. I tied a piece of White Twine from the , then adhered it to my project using Foam Adhesive Sheets. Lastly I sprinkled some Genial Gems and called it done.

Beautiful cards Gloria! How did I miss the pastels?
Thank you, Cindee. I have made so many cards lately with the Stampin’ Pastels, I have to photograph them and post!
