It's that time of year again when fabulous young people graduate! I have 3 graduation cards I need to make. I had seen several owl cards and knew that is what I wanted to do, but the one that really caught my eye, was one done by Mary Fish. Loved it, so I had to CASE it! Here is my owl with different colors, etc.
I started with the base card, using Crumb Cake (one of my favorite go to colors), and then used some DSP from the Neutral's Big Paper Pack. Made a belly band, and worked on that cute owl!
Here is the card apart from the belly band that holds the front flaps together. I was glad I went with the owl theme, as I have 2 more graduation cards to get out in the mail, and I plan to use the same scheme only different colors.
This is one of my favorite verses in the stamp set called "Word Play" I think it's very appropriate for a young person who is beginning their jouney into adulthood.
Hope you enjoyed my card and come back soon as we had our "Luv2stampinGa Team Meeting" yesterday and have some great pics of the gals and our swaps.
Until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, none of us are promised "tomorrow"!
