Beautiful Bouquet Birthday

We are celebrating a birthday tomorrow at the office, and I created this card for sweet co-worker.  Her favorite color is Turquoise, so I used some Tempting Turquoise Cardstock  as my main panel on the card.  It is not one of my “go to” colors, so I had a bit of challenge pulling this together.

I used several stamp sets on this card.  1) Beautiful Bouquet, 2) Cake Soiree, 3) Dragonfly Dreams, and 4) Letters for You.  The ink colors in the card 1) Rose Red, Daffodil Delight, Perfect Plum, and Memento Black Ink.  Also, do you see the Wink of Stella in there, yeah, I got a little carried away….. 🙂

The entire office will sign the card, so I made it a 5″ X 5″ card which meant I needed a custom envelope, which was a breeze to create with my Envelope Punch Board.  I stepped up the card using the yummy Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate, and placed it over the Tempting Turquoise Cardstock.  It is really much prettier in person.  It’s hard to photograph the a card when it has shiny acetate on the front.

The flower images were cut with the coordinating die to the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, the Bouquet Bunch Framelits.  The leaves come from the same bundle.  The Bee was stamped and cut using the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set, and cut out with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlet Dies. 

Of course we always finish off the inside, and this card was no exception.  Still plenty of room for everyone to sign the inside.
