High Tide meets Brusho

Wow, it has been quite a while since I used both my High Tide Stamp Set and Brusho Crystal Colours.  I had a 12-hour marathon with 2 of my friends, we lovingly call ourselves the “3 Amigas”.  We crafted literally all day, and we had so much fun, we laughed, stamped, punched, inked, and brusho’d!

I first created the background, then decided which stamp set I would use to create my full project.  As you can see from the photo the Brusho Crystal Colours are highly pigmented and thus allows you to create these beautiful backgrounds.  Super quick, and super easy, just be sure to protect your work area….. 🙂

Highly pigmented Brusho Crystal Colours

I used three different colors from the 5 pack set of Brusho Crystal Colours.  I started with Gamboge for the top sky, then moved to the middle with Prussian Blue, and ended at the bottom with Moss Green.  I used Watercolor Paper, added all my Brusho crystal colors, then spritzed all of it with some water, that was literally all I did for the background.  How super easy is that, right?

Next, I decided on the High Tide Stamp Set, and inked it up with some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink,  I used my Stamparatus which I love, and made the restamping of my dark silhouette type images I was looking to create perfect!

As you can see from the close-up photo, I used my White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to highlight various areas.  I think it really brought this card up to the next level.

Don’t forget the inside

And because you know I like to pull the whole card together by finishing up the inside, I stamped some of the birds and grass on the inside.  I had a 1/2″ piece of the watercolored paper left over, so I used it on the inside as shown on my photo above.

I hope you will give Brusho Crystal Colours a try, I think you will absolutely love it and will have fun creating a ton of different cards, backgrounds, images, etc. which I hope you will share with me.
