Beautiful You Birthday
Last week I celebrated a milestone of a birthday, I turned 60! That number just makes my head explode!! I don’t feel 60, and thank the good Lord I get around just fine. Anywho I digress, my dear bestie Mary Cook gave me this gorgeoso card (along with a few goodies… :-), and I just had to share it with you today.
I have project details for you at the bottom of this post.
Mary used both the Beautiful You and Very Versailles Stamp Sets on this project. She stamped a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Very Versailles Stamp Set with Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed it with some White Embossing Powder, and our Heat Tool. Next, she used a sponge dauber which she had first dipped in some glycerin (I have a video showing you how to use this amazing product HERE) and some Highland Heather Classic Ink to create the background and allow the embossed image to spring forward. Such a WOW factor!
Mary used a Thick Whisper White piece of cardstock for her card base, added a layer of Gray Granite, and then the embossed panel.
Mary stamped the Beautiful You stamp set image with Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored it in with the Highland Heather, Old Olive, and Balmy Blue Color Blends Combo.
Lastly, using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Mary cut a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock, and the stamped image. She posted them up on some Stampin’ Dimensionals, and she called it done!
Thank you for visiting with me today, I hope I have inspired you to go create something beautiful and send it on its way.
