Tiny Keepsakes Bundle
Have you seen the adorable Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies and Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set Bundle on page 21 of the Holiday Catalog? It is super cute and super perfect in size for just the right treat to share without breaking the bank!
More Bang for my Buck
If you’re anything remotely like me, you like to get more bang for your buck, right? Well, here I will share with you just how I did that with the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, some Basic Black Cardstock, and the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle, along with with a “bonus” 3″ X 3″ card to give along with the yummy treat. Let’s begin.
I started with an 8-1/2″ X 11″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock I had cut down to 5-1/2″ X 11″. I used my Mini Curvy Keepsakes Dies to cut out 2 boxes. I also cut a 5-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Monster Bash Designer Series Paper and cut One box out of it. This will give me two boxes with some fun decor before I even begin to embellish, sweet!
I trimmed the Monster Bash DSP cut box and created 4 separate panels, with a small square leftover for future embellishing if I need it. I used my Tombow Liquid Glue to adhere two panels on each Basic Black Cardstock cut box as shown in the photo above.
I used my Bone Folder to slightly curve all four sides of the box to make it easier to pull together. I inserted a nice Ferrero Rocher candy in the center of the box and pulled my piece and closed the box.
So now I have a beautiful DSP embellished Curvy Keepsake Box ready to add additional embellishments with ribbon and a cute tag from the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set. Super cute, right?
I used the tags from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies and cut them out of Whisper White Cardstock, then stamped the spider web image from the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Set with the Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink and the cut “For You” sentiment from the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set.
I tied the tag with some Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine, then added it to the 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and tied a bow on top of my box. Lastly, I added a Monster Bash Enamel Shapes to the tag to complete the box.
As I mentioned earlier, I had a 3″ X 11″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock left over, so I cut it into a 3″ X 6″ piece and scored it at 3″ to create a cute a super easy notecard to be given along with the box to my teammates at work tomorrow. I added a piece of 2-7/8″ X 2-7/8″ piece of Monster Bash DSP to the front and stamped the Halloween sentiment on a 3/4″ X 2-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock with the sentiment from the In Every Season Stamp Set with my Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. Again, I added a couple of embellishments from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes. I called this project done.
So we were able to get 2 boxes and one notecard from the single piece of 8-1/2″ X 11″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock, and one cute coordinating notecard.
