Best Dressed with Beautiful Friendship
Every month I create some special cards to send to my downline team members for their amazing accomplishments. This month I wanted something soft and feminine, so I decided on the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set which I felt coordinated beautifully with this particular piece of DSP.
Best Dressed Floral Print
I love this gorgeous piece of paper from the Best Dressed 6″ X 6″ Designer Series paper stack. I pulled out the colors Highland Heather from the DSP and used it as one of my layers on this project.
I started with a Thick Whisper White Cardstock as my base, cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″. My next layer was the Highland Heather Cardstock I cut at 4-1/8″ X 5-3/8″. Next up was my piece of Best Dressed DSP I cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″.
To add some additional femininity to the project, I cut a layer from the Stitched Labels Framelits with some Vellum Cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Jubilee Stamp Set with Old Olive Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut it out with the Stitched Circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
Beautiful Friendship
I used the Beautiful Friendship Stamp set and some Highland Heather Classic Ink to stamp the flowers, and Old Olive Classic Ink to stamp the leaves. I fussy cut them with my magnificent Paper Snips. I also punched out a couple of sprigs with some Sparkle Glimmer Paper. I also sprinkled a few of the Jewels Basic Rhinestones on the card front.
I always like to finish the inside of my cards (actually, also the envie too), and for this project, I cut a piece of the same Best Dressed DSP at 1″ X 4-1/4″ and adhered it to the inside as shown on the photo above, then a 1/4″ piece of Highland Heather Cardstock and added it over the DSP. This project is done!
