Under My Umbrella Z-Fun Fold
Today I am sharing a Z-Fun Fold card using the New Under My Umbrella Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog. I also used the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper which made pulling this project together a snap. I just love, love, love the bright colors in the DSP Pack!
I started with a 4-1/4″ X 11″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock which I scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. I cut a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock at 9″ X 3-1/2″, scored at 4-1/2″ which I layer in the main panel of the Whisper White Cardstock base.
I cut a piece of the Subtles Designer Series 6″ X 6″ (Balmy Blue Gingham) Paper stack at 2-1/2″ X 4″, and layered it on the front flap with SNAIL Adhesive as shown in the photo above.
Next using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (one of my BIG FAVS right now), I cut a 3-1/2″ X 4-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the largest scalloped die. I added it to my Balmy Blue panel with SNAIL Adhesive.
I’m not sure you can see it on any of my photos, but I took one of my Stampin’ Spritzers, added some Champagne Shimmer Mist, about 10 drops of Balmy Blue Reinker, and filled the rest of the bottle with 70% Isopropyl alcohol. I gently shook my bottle and spritzed the Scalloped Die piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the mixture.
I punched three open umbrella tops and one closed umbrella top using the Umbrella Builder Punch from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. I punched three umbrella handles using Balmy Blue Cardstock. I punched 5 umbrella handles using Whisper White Cardstock. I stacked the 5 Whisper White umbrella handles using my Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
I added the Umbrella tops as shown in the photo above with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the Balmy Blue Cardstock umbrella handles using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set with Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Using my Paper Snips I fussy cut some of those cute flowers on Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper and added them to my umbrella handles with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added the closed umbrella top to the bottom panel (as shown above) with Stampin’ Dimensionals and tucked the five-layered Whisper White umbrella handle only to the inside of the closed umbrella, leaving the rest of the handle unglued, this allowed me to tuck my Balmy Blue Cardstock panel under my Whisper White umbrella handle.
