Hello Spring!!
I am so ready for Spring, are you? We have had a relatively cold and rainy winter in Georgia, so I’m ready to shed the coats, scarves, and boots and get onto some fun Spring clothes!
Forever Blossoms
In honor of the first day of Spring I created this “hello Spring” card using the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set, and the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies.
I started with a Thick Whisper White piece of cardstock cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I also cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock at 4″ X 5-1/4″ and embossed it using the Subtles Embossing Folder, then trimmed it up with my Stitched Rectangles Dies (the largest one).
I cut the word spring with the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies with Thick Whisper White Cardstock three (3) times and adhered them together with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Hand-Lettered Prose Dies
I stamped off first, then stamped the large blossoms image, the single bloom, and leaf from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set on a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock with the Saddle Brown Stazon Ink. I colored in the images using my Daffodil Delight, and Mink Macaron Combo Blends. Once I was done coloring them in, I cut the pieces out using the coordinating Cherry Blossoms Dies (the best deal is to purchase the bundle to save 10%).
I stamped the hello sentiment from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set on a piece of Vellum, with Versamark Ink, then sprinkled some Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. Once it had cooled off completely I cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, it has a small square die in the set.
Now let’s put this together, I added the Blushing Bride piece of cardstock with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added my floral images with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the cut letters with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stragetically added the hello sentiment by adding some liquid glue to all four corners of the Vellum cardstock and stuck it to the floral images and letters.
Lastly, I sprinkled some From My Hearted Faceted Gems and again added them with my Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I called this project done.
