Pressed Petals Specialty DSP
I was going through my stack of Designer Series Papers and decided to use the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.
If you haven’t taken a look at this gorgeous Pressed Petals SpecialtyDesigner Series paper, please take the time to check it out. The colors and flora images in this stack are absolutely gorgeous! There is a sheet, in particular, you will want to check out, I have an arrow pointing to it in the photo above. This sheet makes creating a project super, duper easy!
I started with a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock I cut at 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, and scored at 4-1/4″. I used a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″. The particular image I selected from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper when cut ends up being 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″, however, I cut it down to 3-7/8″ X 5-1/8″, I adhered it to my Very Vanilla layer with my SNAIL Adhesive. I cut a 1/4″ X 4″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock, and a strip of the oh so beautiful Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and adhered them together using my Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then added the strip/ribbon to the center of my project.
I stamped the “many thanks” sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set on a strip of Very Vanilla Cardstock scrap with the Soft Suede Classic Ink and used my Paper Snips to trim out the sentiment and flag the ends. I added the sentiment to my project with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I sprinkled a couple of small Basic Pearl Jewels.
Don’t forget the inside
I love to carry the theme from my card front to the inside of my project. I used a Very Vanilla Cardstock layer cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″, and added a 1/2″ X 4″ strip of Night of Navy Cardstock. I had a scrap piece of the Pressed Specialty DSP from the image I trimmed down on the front of my card, so I added it to the top of the Night of Navy strip. I added another strip of the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, then added my completed layer to the inside of my card project.
