Floral Essence Team Cards

Today’s project uses the Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating Perennial Flower Punch.  I also used the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper as one of my layers with a sliver of Night of Navy Cardstock peeking from the back.

In Good Taste Designer Series Paper

Let’s break this project down, I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and scored it at 4-1/4″. I cut a 4-1/4″ X 4-3/8″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock, then a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper cut at 4″ X 5-1/4″, with the image of what I “think” looks like putty a blue canvas.  What do you think it looks like?

 

Daisy Lane Stamp Set

I used the sentiment from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set on a 1/2″ X 3-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Magenta Madness, Judy Jade, and Misty Moonlight Classic Inks.  I also cut a couple of 2″ X 8-1/2″ strips of Whisper White Cardstock, stamped the floral image from the Floral Essence Stamp Set using BumbleBee, Magenta Madness, and Misty Moonlight Classic Ink.  The inner circle is stamped in Cinnamon Cider Classic Ink.

I punched some Vellum with the Sprig Punch and added a little bit of Just Jade Classic Ink to the sprigs. 

 

 

I assembled the card by adding the flowers first using some Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then added my flower centers with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the Vellum sprigs and sentiment some Liquid Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I felt the card still needed a little something, so I punched some Magenta Madness Cardstock using the Confetti Border Punch.  I scrunched the tiny flowers and added them to my project with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and finally sprinkled some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to finish my project.
