July 2020 3D Bundle Tutorial Blog Hop

My project this month features the Playful Pets Suite from the 2020-2021 Annual  Catalog, here is my second project below.

I recently created a similar card using this style with the Whale of a Time Suite, so I decided to do the same thing with this cute critter set.

I started with an 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  I cut the second layer of Real Red Cardstock at 4″ X 4-1/4″.  I used the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper pieces and cut them into four (4) pieces at 2-1/2″ X 1-7/8″. 

I used my previously created template on this project.  I cut a 2-1/2″ X 1-7/8″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and measured on the bottom left corner in at 1/2″ and placed a tiny pencil mark.  Then on the right side from the top to the bottom, I measured down to 1-1/8″ and placed another little pencil mark.  I used my ruler to connect both lines, then used my Paper Snips to cut across.  See the photo above. 

I used this as my template to score where I wanted my  Playful Pets Designer Series Paper Scored.  I used my Bone Folder to mark across the DSP which made it super easy to fold back perfectly.

I added the Playful Pets DSP piece as shown in the photo above to my 4″ X 5-1/4″ layer of Real Red Cardstock.  Once I had the Playful Pets DSP pieces secured with my NEW Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive, I added a Stampin’ Dimensional to the folded flap piece of Play Pets DSP to add some dimension.

I wrapped a piece of the Black & White Baker’s Twine from the Play Pets Trim Ribbon Combo around the center of my card layer and tied a simple bow. I adhered the Real Red Cardstock layer over top of my Thick Whisper White Cardstock card base using my some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped my sentiment from the Pampered Pets Stamp Set on a 2-1/2″ X 2-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and used the Layering Squares Dies to cut it out.  I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered it to the center of my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I sprinkled a few of the Real Red Rhinestones the sentiment piece of my card, and I called this project, done!
