Arrange a Wreath
I don’t typically create 5″ x 5″ cards, but today I decided the project I had in mind would look best in just that size. I have full measurements at the bottom of my post.
I started by cutting a piece In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and using the third from the largest Layering Circles Die, I drew a light circle on my DSP. Using my Mossy Meadow Classic Ink and the single stem from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set, I created my wreath base.
Using some Mossy Meadow, Old Olive cardstocks, the leaf dies from the Wreath Builder dies, I cut several from each color. I snipped the cut leaves and arranged them over my stamped image using some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Poinsettia Dies
I used the die from the Poinsettia Dies set, to cut out the stems that look like holly berries, with some Old Olive, and Crumb Cake cardstock. I snipped each of them into little pieces and adhered them to my wreath with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the berries from the Peace & Joy Stamp Set with Real Red Classic Ink, on Whisper White cardstock. I used my 1/4″ circle punch (retired from Stampin’ Up!), then adhered them in a set of three’s on my wreath as shown in the photos.
Using Real Red Cardstock, I added strips of Adhesive Sheets, then cut out the word “peace’ from the Joy Dies, four times. I stacked them together and added it to the center of my wreath.
Don’t forget the inside
I stamped the sentiment and greenery from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and Real Red Classic Ink. I stamped the greenery with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers.
I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the sentiment and berries on the front of my project. If you wanted to, you could replace the berries I stamped with some Real Red Rhinestones.
Measurements
Crumb Cake Cardstock – 5″ x 10″, scored at 5″ on the 10″ side, 3″ x 4″ berries
Real Red Cardstock – 4-7/8″ x 4-7/8″ front panel layer, 4″ x 5-1/4″ to cut out the sentiment “peace”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2 to cut the leaves
Old Olive Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ to cut the leaves
Whisper White Cardstock – 4-7/8″ x 4-7/8″ for the inside panel
In Good Taste DSP – 4-5/8″ x 4-5/8″
