Christmastime Is Here DSP
Did you know the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper is still available? I had completely forgotten about it, but am so glad I found a card I had used this absolutely gorgeous DSP on it and immediately pulled it out.
I created several cards and will be sharing the details for each one on separate days. I have measurements listed for you at the bottom of this post.
Thick Whisper White Card Base
I love to use the Thick Whisper White Cardstock for my card base. It’s a very nice and very sturdy cardstock that holds up to just about anything you embellish your projects with.
I added some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (which is on sale until 10/31/20) to the front of my card base with my “favorite” Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive. Living in the state of Georgia, it gets very humid at times and this stuff makes my cards stay put no matter what, I just love it!!
Fussy Cut Floral Image
I have a close-up photo of the floral image from the Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. The images are simply stunning! The best part, by removing the pine-like looking sprigs when I fussy cut the image, it allows me to use the DSP with any time of sentiment or theme. This particular project was created as a Thinking of You card. I think it worked well and doesn’t look festive, but it does look beautiful, don’t you think?
I added the floral image and sentiment with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Ornate Frames Dies to hold my sentiment, which comes from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set. I used Gold Foil Sheets underneath my sentiment. The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink.
I sprinkled a few Red Rhinestones Basic Jewels on the card front for a little bit of bling.
A little something on the inside
I love to include a little something-something on the inside of my projects, so for this project, I fussy cut a couple of the small flowers with my very sharp Paper Snips from the Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper, then adhered them on the inside.

Thick Whisper White Cardstock – 8-12″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, scrap for sentiment
In Good Taste DSP – 1″ x 5-1/2 of one design, and 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ of another design
Gold Foil – 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″
