Christmastime Part II
Today I am sharing Part II of my Christmastime is Here Ensemble. This particular project is super simple, however so sweet. The Dove from the Detailed Dove Dies makes pulling this project together a breeze.
I started with a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side. I cut a piece of the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper at 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and added to the front of my card base using my Stampin’ Seal+.

Detailed Dove Dies
I used a 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White and Vellum Cardstock I cut the sweet dove out using the Detailed Dove Dies. Details on the photo above. Before I adhered the Vellum Cardstock to the Whisper White cardstock, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Vellum Cardstock. Once it dried I added the Vellum behind the Whisper White Cardstock. I tried to get a good photo, but it didn’t really come through.
I added the dove to my card front using Stampin Dimensionals, and once I had it secured, I took the smallest Basic Pearl Jewels and added it to the eye area of the dove.
Like I mentioned, I tried to take a close-up photo of the pretty Wink of Stella on the Vellum Cardstock panel, but it didn’t come out as beautiful as it is in person.
Ornate Frames Dies
I stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink on a 3″ x 1″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock then cut it out using the Ornate Frames Dies. I used a 2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Gold Foil Sheet to cut out the frame for my sentiment. These dies make any card look elegant!
Lastly, I sprinkled a couple of the Wonderful Gems from the 2020 August – December Mini Catalog, located on page 31.
