Quick Christmastime Is Here DSP Card

I am continuing with the third installment of my Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper projects.  I have ordered many packs of this DSP because I love it so much!

I used the Christmastime Is Here DSP for the focal point of my project, and the gorgeous Ornate Frames Dies for my sentiment.  The card is super simple, but the Christmastime Is Here DSP makes it pack a punch because it is so gorgeous.

I just can’t pick a favorite, can you?  The project I am sharing with you today starts with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 4-1/4″.  I cut another piece of 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of regular Whisper White Cardstock and ran it through the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I wrapped a piece of the 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the embossed panel, then adhered the embossed piece of Whisper White Cardstock to the Thick Whisper White card base using my Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a piece 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper with my Stampin’ Trimmer.  I also cut a piece of 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Gold Foil Sheet.  I added the DSP to the Gold Foil using some Seal+ Adhesive.  I then added the panel to my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow using the 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon and adhered to my card panel with some Mini Glue Dots.

Ornate Frames Dies

I cut a 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Gold Foil and the Ornate Frames Dies.  I used a 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and used the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set with some Mossy Meadow Classic Ink.  I sprinkled a couple of gold Wonderful Gems to the card front.   It’s that simple.
